Tiivistelmä
Both green human resource management practices and digital businesses provide significant hurdles for today's world. Human resources are a crucial area of any company since people are both the driving force and the result of progress. The use of green human resource management practices in digital business, however, has gained more attention than in the past, and this is a welcome development given the fact that businesses face a wide range of challenges beyond just economic areas, including environmental areas and social responsibilities. Therefore, in this era of digital transformation, the importance and implementation of green human resource management practices is one of the most critical aspects in the actualization of strategy in digital organizations.
This study examines the positive effects of implementing green human resource management (GHRM) practices on digital companies. Data was gathered from 51 enterprises in Muscat, representing several industry sectors, using a quantitative approach that involved a questionnaire survey. The analysis involved the application of both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques utilizing the SPSS program.
By analyzing data, we achieved interesting results that include as per the participant response the most important GHRM practice is using energy saving method. Moreover, to facilitate the GHRM practices implementation in the organization’s leadership support and training have a significant impact. the result of the research can be an essential contribution to the growing topic of green HRM and digital companies. It provides valuable insights for organizations who want to use sustainable green practices to achieve success in the digital world.
