This study examines the benefit of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementation on supply chain integration in Debol’s African store. The specific objectives are to ascertain the present situation of Supply Chain Management in the company, to determine how best to design an ERP system that will effectively integrate the company’s supply chain integration, to investigate how the ERP system will impact Debol’s African store supply chain integration; and to ascertain the problems that may impede the implementation of the ERP system at the Debol’s African store.
The study employed a case study research design relying on a qualitative research method using semi-structured interviews to collect data, and the data collected were analyzed using thematic analysis.
The result showed that integration of the supply chain for Debol’s African stores in Estonia would present a few logistical, legal, cultural, and market-related problems; the ERP system can offer helpful information and resources that help predict demand and modify inventory levels appropriately, enhance customer happiness and profitability by optimizing inventory management and providing products depending on client demand and reduce the manual work done by the employee.
