This paper provides a comprehensive examination of the professional journey undertaken by a junior AI project manager within the consulting company Spinverse OY over the span of eight weeks, commencing on February 12, 2024, and concluding on April 5, 2024. The study encapsulates a multifaceted exploration of the roles and responsibilities inherent in project management, particularly within the domains of ICT and Electronics, with a specific focus on AI and software engineering projects and proposals. Through a meticulous analysis of diary entries, the project manager's experiences, challenges, and learning moments are documented, offering insights into the utilization of AI tools for tasks such as data analysis, stakeholder communication, resource allocation, and content generation. Drawing upon both academic literature and practical encounters, the paper delves into key themes such as AI tool security, the cultivation of soft skills, and the dynamic interplay between human intuition and AI capabilities. Furthermore, the discussion encompasses the intricacies of stakeholder interactions, ranging from internal collaborations with colleagues to engagements with partners and commissioning organizations.
