Sustainable Aviation: Exploring Carbon Reduction and Green Technologies for Airlines explores the carbon emission challenges facing the air transport sector and strategies to address them. The rapid development of the aviation industry, which has brought about economic growth, has also led to serious environmental problems, especially the large amount of carbon dioxide emissions. The article points out that airlines need to actively seek carbon reduction technologies and green strategies to achieve sustainable development. The application of green technologies in the airline industry becomes the key to solving this problem. The article provides an in-depth analysis of various low-carbon technologies, such as improving engine efficiency, adopting biofuels, optimising route design and introducing more efficient flight management systems. The implementation of these technologies not only helps to reduce carbon emissions, but also helps airlines to improve operational efficiency and economy. The section exploring airline sustainability strategies focuses on multi-dimensional considerations such as strategic transformation, regulatory compliance, technological innovation and co-operation, and consumer education. By developing a long-term low-carbon strategy, airlines are able to steer the industry in a green direction while gaining an edge in the competitive marketplace. In addition, government policies, international co-operation and increased consumer green awareness are also seen as important factors in driving airlines' sustainable development. The conclusions and outlook section suggests that the road to sustainability for the airline industry is still full of challenges, but it is entirely possible to achieve significant reductions in carbon emissions through technological breakthroughs, policy facilitation and industry collaboration. In the future, airlines will need to find a balance between technological innovation and business model innovation to achieve a win-win situation for the economy, environment and social responsibility. This exploration has far-reaching significance for the green transformation of the global aviation industry, as well as the global response to climate change.
