This thesis examines the feasibility of establishing an auto repair shop in Finland. The primary objective of the study is to explore the opportunities within the Finnish automotive sector, which has seen consistent growth in recent years, making it a promising market for new entrepreneurs. The study aims to identify key trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape through comprehensive market research.
The methodology employed in this thesis is a qualitative approach. Market research was conducted using an interview with an industry expert to provide insights into current market conditions and technological innovations and to gauge demand for vehicle maintenance services.
The findings suggest that there is a significant demand for reliable and high-quality auto repair services. Private car owners and fleet operators alike expressed a need for dependable maintenance solutions. The study revealed that technical innovation and customer satisfaction are critical to achieving long-term success and sustainability in the Finnish market.
Based on these findings, the thesis concludes that a well-defined business strategy that leverages the unique strengths of the Finnish automotive market can establish a trusted and successful auto repair shop. The study recommends focusing on strategic procedures, project structuring, service offerings, marketing strategies, and operational processes to ensure viability and growth.
