Tiivistelmä
This thesis explores how factors contributing to a positive recruitment experience influence the decision-making process of accepting job offers for internships among International Business bachelor students in Germany and Finland. Using qualitative narrative inquiry and semi-structured interviews, the study compares the components of the recruitment process, perceptions of fairness, and determinants of employer attractiveness across the two countries. The results highlight the importance of recruitment speed, personalized approaches, and clear role descriptions. Students' decisions are primarily driven by the need to complete their degree and gain first professional experience, rather than by employer brand or salary. These insights offer valuable implications for improving recruitment practices to enhance students’ recruitment experiences
