In this thesis, a business plan was developed for the opening of a new Georgian restaurant Purmarili in Rovaniemi. The purpose of this thesis was to develop a business plan to open a successful Georgian restaurant in the city of Rovaniemi and assess the financial and economic feasibility of this enterprise. For achieving the goals of the thesis tasks were set to review the theoretical basis of the developing the business plan and its importance in planning the activities of the enterprise. Tasks related to creation of a new Georgian restaurant’s business model, analysis of the competitive advantages of Rovaniemi's restaurants and cafés and using an in-depth interview to assess the interest of potential customers in the appearance of Georgian restaurant in Rovaniemi. Tasks were also set to determine the marketing strategy for the new venture and calculation of the main financial indicators of a new restaurant.
In the theoretical part of the thesis, such concepts as business plan, business idea, business model, vision and mission of the company, strategic planning method, marketing strategy tool and financial planning were taken into account. When developing the business plan, a qualitative research method was applied in the form of in-depth interviews and primary and secondary analysis of data was used.
The main result of this thesis was a developed business plan, which confirmed the author's hypothesis about the relevance and expediency of opening a new Georgian restaurant in Rovaniemi. Based on the analysis of financial indicators, a conclusion was made about the prospects and profitability of the company.
