The sector of hospitality, especially boutique hotels, faces of potential challenges when speaking of marketing and engaging with customers in the digital age. This thesis navigates the use of social media marketing strategies to boost the reputation, customer engagement, and growth of boutique hotels, with a particular spotlight on RARA Baikuntha Resort in Nepal. The research endeavours to offer practical insights and advice for those involved in the sector of hospitality by analysing effective social media strategies. These strategies heavily focus on content promotion, influencer partnerships, customer relationship handling, and content created by users.
The study uses quantitative methodology, with data collected via customer questionnaires. This method provides a thorough examination of customer preferences and behaviors in social media interactions with boutique hotels. The study determines the most effective social media techniques for increasing consumer involvement and loyalty using statistical analysis of survey results.
The study finds that successful social media marketing strategies can significantly enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty in boutique hotels. Recommendations include creating a regular content calendar, working with travel influencers, promoting user-generated content, and actively responding to customer comments on social media. These methods are intended to assist boutique hotels such as RARA Baikuntha Resort in optimizing their social media presence, standing out in a competitive market, and achieving long-term company growth.
