Detta examensarbete utfördes för Jakobstadsnejdens Telefon Ab (JNT), en ledande leverantör av telekommunikations- och IT-tjänster för både företag och privatpersoner. Företaget tillhandahåller tjänster inom internet, telefoni, molntjänster och andra digitala lösningar.
Syftet med arbetet har varit att öka förståelsen för användningen av Microsoft Intune bland personalen, särskilt företagsförsäljare och IT-support, med målet att optimera enhetshantering och säkerhetskonfigurationer. Genom att analysera befintliga användningsfall på JNT och dra nytta av intern handledning har jag tagit itu med dessa utmaningar.
Genom att undersöka olika aspekter av Microsoft Intune och Unified Endpoint Managers (UEM), såsom enhetshantering, apphantering, säkerhet och efterlevnad, har jag strävat efter att erbjuda konkreta exempel och praktiska lösningar för att implementera och dra nytta av Intune som en UEM-lösning.
Resultatet av arbetet förväntas öka kunskapen och förståelsen för Intune bland JNT-personalen, med förhoppningen att detta ska leda till en mer effektiv enhetshantering och förbättrad datasäkerhet för organisationen. Handboken, som kommer att sekretessbeläggas, utgör en användarvänlig guide med konkreta exempel för att stödja personalens dagliga arbete och behov. This Bachelor’s thesis was conducted for Jakobstadsnejdens Telefon Ab (JNT). JNT is a leading provider of telecommunications and IT services for both businesses and individuals, offering internet, telephony, cloud services, and other digital solutions.
The purpose of this work has been to increase the understanding of the use of Microsoft Intune among the staff, particularly corporate salespeople, and IT support, with the aim of optimizing device management and security configurations. By analysing existing use cases at JNT and leveraging internal guidance, I have addressed these challenges.
By examining various aspects of Microsoft Intune and Unified Endpoint Managers (UEM), such as device management, app management, security, and compliance, I have aimed to provide concrete examples and practical solutions for implementing and leveraging Intune as an UEM solution.
The outcome of this work is expected to increase the knowledge and understanding of Intune among JNT staff, with the hope that this will lead to more efficient device management and improved data security for the organization. The handbook, which will be classified, serves as a user-friendly guide with concrete examples to support the staff's daily work and needs.
