Arbetssäkerhet inom byggnadsbranschen

Abstract

Detta examensarbete är utfört på beställning av Timberg Bygg & Renovering Ab Oy som är ett byggföretag verksamma främst i Österbotten men också runt om i landet. Arbetet är begränsat enligt beställarens behov till tre centrala huvudpunkter; arbetssäkerhet, ansvarsfördelning och säkerhet på byggarbetsplatser.

Arbetssäkerheten är ett väldigt omfattande ämne som i dagens läge är en av de centrala delarna inom byggnadsbranschen. I examensarbetet förtydligas det hur ansvarsfördelningen ser ut och hur underhållsbesiktningar utförs. Detta görs genom att granska lagar och förordningar, myndighetsdirektiv och tillgänglig litteratur inom området.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att ge förtydligande information åt beställaren samt en säkerhetshandbok där det bland annat framgår hur arbetsplatsintroduktionerna ska gå till med hjälp av en checklista.

Resultatet av detta examensarbete blev ett förtydligande av ansvarsfördelningen inom byggnadsbranschen samt en grund för en säkerhetshandbok som kommer att vidareutvecklas vartefter och enligt nya direktiv som kommer i framtiden. Detta examensarbete kan vidare utvecklas eftersom det är ett väldigt brett ämne.

This Bachelor’s thesis has been carried out on behalf of Timberg Bygg & Renovering Ab Oy which is a construction company operating mainly in Ostrobothnia but also around the country. The work is limited according to the client’s need to three central main points; work safety, responsibilities and building sites.

Work safety is a very comprehensive subject which, in today’s situation, is one of the central parts of the construction industry. In the thesis, it is clarified how the distribution of responsibilities looks like and how maintenance inspections are carried out. This is done by reviewing laws and regulations, government directives and available literature in the field.

The purpose of the thesis was to provide clarifying information to the client as well as a safety handbook where, among other things, it is stated how workplace introductions should be done with the help of a checklist.

The result of this Bachelor’s thesis was a clarification of the division of responsibilities within the construction industry as well as a basis for a safety manual that will be further developed gradually and accordingly to new directions that will come in the future. This thesis can be further developed because it is a very broad topic.
