Tiivistelmä
This study is concerned about employee readiness and the performance of digital transformation in the commercial banking sector in Nepal. Digital transformation is an emerging trend in the Nepalese banking sector. Digitalization is the utmost important part of the strategy to achieve first class services to get competitive advantages by utilization of a combination of digital changes and the preparedness of human resources. The main reason forstudying on this topic is that little research that has been conducted in a similar area. The prime objective of this topic is the impact of digital transformation onemployee readiness and employee performance. This study intends to analyse the determinants of digital transformation of commercial banks in Nepal and examine the relationship between employee readiness and employee performance.

This study is based on primary data that covers determinants of variables from 102 random samples from the respective industry. The result has been based on quantitative research design which includes demographic status, descriptive analysis, regression coefficient and correlation analysis as a statistical tool for analysis of collected data. The finding of the research indicated a positive relationship between digital transformation, employee readiness and employee performance. The positive significant relationship indicated that the independent variables impact dependent variables. The results suggest that digitalization estimates the effect on employee readiness and employee performance. Hence, it is important to make employees ready at both individual and organizational level, which increases job performance and productivity regarding digital changes.
