The main motive of this study was to investigate the methods for promoting diversity and inclusion on university campuses. This study is based on XAMK University. The study aimed to demonstrate how proactive steps like diversity training initiatives and inclusive policies may develop a more welcoming campus environment.
This study is based on diversity and inclusion theories and their implementation in Finnish higher education institutions (HEIs).
The study was done through a critical analysis of the theories, finding important areas for improvement, putting specific interventions into practice, and assessing their effects on campus diversity and inclusivity, which were all part of the research process.
The study demonstrated that implementing deliberate strategies to improve inclusivity and diversity can create a more fulfilling and enjoyable campus experience for all parties involved. The research's conclusions have important recommendations for XAMK and other Finnish HEIs looking to nurture a more diverse and inclusive atmosphere.
