Opas asiakasperheille varhaiskasvatuksen alkaessa : Forssan kaupungin varhaiskasvatus

Abstract

Opinnäytetyömme tavoitteena oli luoda varhaiskasvatuksen aloitusopas uusille asiakasperheille varhaiskasvatuksen alkaessa. Opinnäytetyömme tehtiin kehittämistyönä, jonka toimeksiantajana oli Forssan kaupunki. Toimeksiantajalla ei ollut opasta varhaiskasvatuksen aloitukseen ja tarve oppaalle oli olemassa. Tavoitteena oli selkeä ja informatiivinen opas, josta löytyy tarvittavat tiedot varhaiskasvatuksen aloitukseen. Oppaan tavoitteena oli helpottaa ja selkeyttää uusien asiakasperheiden varhaiskasvatuksen aloitusta sekä tukea yhteistyötä.

Kehittämistyön tietoperustan teemat käsittelivät varhaiskasvatusta Suomessa sekä varhaiskasvatuksen aloitusta. Menetelminä kehittämistyössämme käytimme dialogista kehittämiskeskustelua toimeksiantajan kanssa, sähköistä kyselyä henkilöstölle sekä avointa haastattelua henkilöstölle ja asiakasperheille.

Tuotoksena syntyi opas asiakasperheille varhaiskasvatuksen alkaessa. Opas tarjoaa yhteen kerättynä, uusien asiakasperheiden tarvitsemia tietoja Forssan varhaiskasvatuksesta. Kehittämistyön valmistuttua Forssan kaupunki sai oppaan käyttöönsä sähköisessä muodossa.

The objective of our thesis was to create early childhoods educations guide for new customer families as the early childhoods education begins. Our thesis was done as a development work with the City of Forssa as the main client. The main client did not have a guide for the begin of early childhoods education and the need for the guide was present. The goal was to make a clear and informative guide, which includes the necessary information to begin the journey of early childhoods education. The goal for the guide was to facilitate and clarify the start of early childhood education for the new customer families and support cooperation.

The knowledge base of our development work focused on early childhood education in Finland and the transition to the start of an early childhood education. For the development process we used a variety of different methods. We used dialogical development discussion with the main client, electronic survey for the staff and open interview for the staff and customer families.

As a result we created a guide for the new customer families who begin the early childhood education in Forssa. The guide offers collected information about the early childhood education for the customer families. After our development work was done, the city of Forssa got the guide in electronic format.
