The purpose of this functional thesis is to create a recruitment guide. The guide is intended to support the recruitment process for companies who are recruiting employees without designated department for human resources.
Theory part of this thesis explores the theory behind recruitment. Concepts covered are the recruitment process step by step, legislation concerning recruitment, and lastly policies and practices. Functional thesis consist of the theory section and the guide material.
As a result, a recruitment guide was created. It provides a description of different steps in recruitment process from need definition to onboarding. Actions in each step are also explained.
