In the current competitive business environment of the manufacturing industry, the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is essential for businesses to achieve competitive advantages. Therefore, this thesis aims to analyze the processes, determine the real-worl benefits of ERP implementation, and recommend solutions to enhance key functional areas within a manufacturing company.
The case study was conducted in a manufacturing company specializing in soy-based products, referred to as the case company. A qualitative case study approach with interviews and observation methods was employed to achieve the objectives.
This thesis systematized the theoretical foundation, analyzed the processes and identified practical benefits of each operational process in ERP implementation within the case company. In addition, the study proposed several solutions to optimize the application of ERP systems and improve management efficiency for the case company. The results are significant not only for the case company but also for other businesses with similar operations.
