Leveraging artificial intelligence for enhancing international supply chain management

Abstract

The evolution of artificial intelligence in recent years, particularly in the UK construction industry, has had a considerable impact on anticipated future changes in international supply chain management. This study focusses on how supply chain management is being revolutionised by cutting-edge technologies like machine learning, blockchain, and predictive analytics. In order to demonstrate how AI maximises performance, control, and ACES in global supply chains, the paper outlines significant concerns and findings. According to this study, supply chain predictors that use AI-related technologies reduce risks while improving forecast accuracy and inventory control, which in turn boosts supply chains' adaptability and responsiveness. Additionally, adding the block chain improves data accuracy and trackability to handle the difficulties that come with global supply chains. The study does have certain limitations, though, such as the techniques and scope that would restrict its ability to be broadly applied. Based on the viewpoints expressed, future research implications are given, particularly with reference to innovative developments in AI and how they might be used to fresh supply chain problems. Combining blockchain technology for improved operations and risk management with artificial intelligence for predictive analytics is one of the industry's best practices. The significance of AI in influencing the development of SCM techniques is emphasised in this abstract, which also offers a path forward for additional research in this urgent field.
