Tiivistelmä
The research objective was intended to examine the impact of the regulatory environment, technology readiness, and stakeholders’ collaboration, and especially how awareness and education influenced the use of sustainable logistics and refillable packaging practices through the adoption of blockchain technology. The business proposition shows how blockchain technology relates to sustainable packaging in the logistics industry. The framework illustrates integrating blockchain technology to make all the steps transparent and traceable leading to sustainable practices in packaging and logistics.
The target population for the study was the businesses operating in the target industry or region engaged in logistics functions and packaging. Major supply chain partners who were involved in the present study were manufacturers, distributors, retailers, logistics service providers, and other partners of the company involved in decision-making about sustainable logistics operations and packaging materials. The sampling method employed for this study was the convenience sampling method.
The study confirms four hypotheses relating to the use of sustainable logistics procedures and alternatives for refillable packaging. Strong positive correlations were observed between the regulatory environment, the technological readiness level, and stakeholder engagement and the implementation of these sustainable practices. In addition, it was established that heightened awareness and education influenced the indirect relationships between the stated variables and the adoption of sustainable practices. Sustainable practices of logistics and refillable containers are presented in this study as a complex of regulatory, technological, collaborative, and educational approaches, all of which are interrelated. In this way, enterprises, policymakers, and other positions approach to develop sustainability plans and that impacts are minimized which will lead to improved environmental effects and in the future several generations will be able to support sturdy and sustainable.
