Tiivistelmä
This thesis examines the employment of international employees at Zara in the Finnish market with a special focus on creating a cohesive team environment in a multicultural workforce. The main purpose of this study is to examine modern onboarding methods that promote the integration of international employees, their satisfaction and understanding of Zara’s culture, and then identify recommendations for improvement. The implementation practices and principles of diversity, equity and inclusivity (DEI) were used to analyze the process and its impact on team cohesion and employee engagement.
This study uses a mixed approach, which consists of quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. The unique problems that are faced by international employees, and their solutions are identified in this study, and ways to solve these problems by creating a more inclusive and supportive work environment in the work team are provided.
In the conclusion of this study, the author recommends that Zara in Finland strengthen its onboarding program through targeted cultural and language support, extended job-specific training and improved feedback mechanisms. These improvements will contribute to the creation of a more inclusive, engaged and cohesive team that meets Zara's long-term goals in an increasingly diverse market.
