Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) have become the main innovative technologies of the last decade, increasing the operational efficiency of enterprises and leading to digitalization. The research examined the process of introducing AI and ML into enterprises, and their impact on business processes, decision-making and organizational efficiency. Archival research was conducted using secondary data from relevant academic publications, case studies and industry reports using NVivo 12 software to analyze quantitative data. The results revealed that companies are actively implementing AI in various business processes, and that the technology improves operational efficiency, decision-making speed and resource optimization, and also promotes innovation. However, obstacles were identified, such as high implementation costs, employee resistance and insufficient infrastructure. It was concluded that successful AI implementation requires tailored strategies and careful staff training. Further research into industry barriers, cultural differences in ap-proaches to AI adoption, the integration of AI with other innovations, and the role of AI in promoting sustainable business practices is recommended.
