This thesis looked at the service quality in Asian restaurants in Turku, focusing on how to improve customer satisfaction and the overall dining experience. As the food scene in Turku becomes more diverse, it is important to understand what makes service in Asian restaurants better to attract and keep customers.
To gather insights, I conducted interviews with restaurant staff and management to learn about the current service quality, the challenges they face, and effective ways to improve. The findings showed that cultural differences, staff training, and available resources play a big role in how well service is delivered. Good communication and teamwork among staff are also crucial.
Based on what I learned, I created a practical handbook for restaurant owners and staff. This handbook offers clear recommendations to help improve service quality, creates a positive dining environment, and increases customer satisfaction in Asian restaurants in Turku.
This research adds valuable knowledge to the field of hospitality management and provides useful guidance for restaurant owners looking to enhance their service standards in a competitive market.
