The main objective of this thesis was to conduct an in-depth analysis of Lassila & Tikanoja`s strategic approach to integrating circular economy principles into its business operations. The study aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the company`s initiatives, challenges, and best practices with the goal of identifying practical insights that can be applied across various industries.
The thesis will deliver the following outcome; a detailed case of Lassila & Tikanoja`s circular economy strategies, a thorough assessment of the economic, environmental, and social impact of the company’s circular economy initiatives, a critical analysis of the challenges and barriers encountered by the company in their pursuit of circular economy integration along with recommendations for overcoming these obstacles, a set of best practices and lessons learned from the company`s experience which other companies can emulate, and a framework or roadmap for businesses to develop and implement effective circular economy strategies.
Data was collected using the quantitative method by giving a questionnaire to 30 respondents. The collected data was analyzed using Jamovi software to derive insights, identify patterns, and draw conclusions about Lassila & Tikanoja`s circular economy strategic approach.
