Kryptovaluuttasijoitushuijausten tunnistaminen ja estäminen

Abstract

Kryptovaluuttojen yleistymisen ja suosion myötä ovat myös erilaiset kryptovaluuttoihin liittyvät huijaukset yleistyneet huomattavasti. Tämän työn tutkimusongelmana on selvittää miten tunnistetaan ja estetään viime aikoina yleistyneitä kryptovaluuttasijoitushuijauksia. Tämä aihe on tärkeä ja se on valittu siksi, että tunnistamalla huijausyritykset, pystytään ne myös estämään. Työn tarkoituksena on myös lisätä tietoisuutta kryptovaluuttahuijauksista. Alan ammattilaisille tekemieni haastatteluiden pohjalta sijoitushuijaukset liittyvät nykyään lähes poikkeuksetta kryptovaluuttoihin. Tutkimusongelmaa on ratkaistu haastatteluin, tutkimuskyselyllä sekä tapaustutkimuksen menetelmin. Tutkimuksissa pyritään tuomaan esille sijoittajalle merkit, joista kryptovaluuttahuijauksen voi tunnistaa. Työssä käsiteltiin myös kryptovaluuttoja yleisesti ja käsiteltiin niitä sijoituskohteina.

With the increasing popularity and widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies, the number of cryptocurrency-related scams has also significantly increased. The research problem of this study is to determine how to identify the recent surge in cryptocurrency investment scams. This topic is important and was chosen because by identifying fraudulent attempts, they can also be prevented. The aim of this study is also to raise awareness of cryptocurrency scams. Based on interviews conducted with industry professionals, investment scams are now almost exclusively associated with cryptocurrencies. To address the research problem, interviews, a research survey, and a case study were conducted. The primary goal was to highlight the warning signs for investors to recognize cryptocurrency scams. Additionally, the paper provided a comprehensive overview of cryptocurrencies and their suitability as investment assets.
