Tiivistelmä
Learning is a continuous process, and with it, the development of education is also necessary. Education must be able to meet the needs of learners, support their well-being and prepare students for the demands of a changing working life. By developing the contents of the education, it is possible to better take the students' individual learning paths into account and thereby help them succeed in their studies.
The purpose of this thesis was to develop the Biomedical laboratory science Degree’s Project learning implementation of 15 credits into a more functional and smooth entity for students and teachers. The implementation had received negative feedback during the previous semesters, when students had experienced numerous uncertainties related to the timing and schedule.
Due to the uncertainty factors, the goal of this development was to promote the well-being of all parties, especially the students, by reducing uncertainty, and to promote the students' credit accumulation and timely graduation. This Master’s Thesis created an opportunity to develop the implementation by using service design methods and tools but also to involve both students and teachers in the development work.
