This study covers Generation Z's experiences with smartwatches and their effects on physical well-being. Knowing how younger consumers interact with smartwatches is essential for enhancing user experience and product development as wearable technology continues to gain traction. The study focuses on the effects of smartwatches on motivation, health management, and fitness.
Ten participants who actively use smartwatches participated in semi-structured interviews as part of a qualitative research approach. The results address issues with data accuracy and usability while highlighting the advantages of smartwatches in promoting motivation and physical activity. Furthermore, individuals highlighted how smartwatches might improve mental and physical health.
These findings highlight possibilities for future smartwatch design advancements and offer a greater knowledge of how wearable technology affects everyday health practices.
