Against the backdrop of global economic integration and the rapid development of cross-border ecommerce, air logistics, as a core link in the modern supply chain, has increasingly played a significant role in promoting regional economy and international trade. As an important air logistics hub in central China, Zhengzhou Airport has witnessed a continuous increase in cargo and mail throughput in recent years, driven by policy support and the expansion of flight routes. However, with the intensification of regional competition and the diversification of customer demands, Zhengzhou Airport is confronted with challenges such as high operating costs and insufficient informatization levels.
This paper takes the aviation logistics business of Zhengzhou Airport as the research object, comprehensively uses SWOT analysis, PESTEL model, Porter's Five Forces Model and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and conducts an in-depth analysis of its internal and external environment and business competitiveness from multiple dimensions. Through SWOT analysis, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Zhengzhou Airport were comprehensively sorted out, revealing its advantages in terms of geographical location, infrastructure, policy support, etc., as well as its deficiencies in aspects such as operating costs and information construction. The PESTEL model analyzes the impact of the external environment on the air logistics business of Zhengzhou Airport from six macro dimensions. The Porter's Five Forces Model further evaluated the competitive situation of the industry and clarified the competitive position of Zhengzhou Airport in the air logistics market. On this basis, by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a scientific index system was constructed, revealing the core issues and potential advantages in the current business operation.
Based on these systematic analyses and evaluations, this paper puts forward specific suggestions to provide theoretical support for the sustainable development of the air logistics business of Zhengzhou Airport, in order to improve the air logistics services of Zhengzhou Airport, optimize operational efficiency and enhance its competitiveness.
