This study employed SWOT, PESTEL, Porter's Five Forces analysis and comparative analysis to assess Cathay Pacific's strengths, including a strong route network, modern aircraft fleet and technological advancements, as well as weaknesses such as limited operational scope and lack of digital integration. External issues such as market competition, regulation and economic changes were also discussed.
Based on these findings, this paper proposes optimization strategies including process reengineering, cost management, service quality improvement, technological innovation and market expansion. These suggestions are aimed at enhancing Cathay Pacific's competitiveness in the high-value-added cargo market and informing the broader air logistics.
