This study takes China's DF Airlines as the research object to explore the key issues it faces, such as the improvement of network operation efficiency, the pressure of carbon emission reduction and the limitation of airspace resources, under the background of the recovery of the global aviation industry. The research focuses on addressing the demand for continuously improving air transport efficiency, the environmental pressure brought about by carbon emission reduction targets, and the operational challenges resulting from congestion in China's airspace. As one of the major airline operators in China, the report aims to analyze how DF Airlines can enhance operational efficiency and market competitiveness by optimizing its route network and collaborating with the Air Traffic Management (ATM) system, while achieving sustainable development goals.
This study adopts a multi-theoretical framework including the theory of aviation network optimization, the theory of air traffic management, the theory of network collaboration and the theory of sustainable development. The current status of industry research was sorted out through literature analysis. The Shanghai-Chongqing route was selected as a typical case for case analysis. Data such as passenger load factor, RPK (Revenue Passenger kilometers), and ASK (available Seat kilometers) were visualized, and performance evaluation was conducted by quantifying indicators using data analysis. By combining qualitative and quantitative research methods, the DF aviation network planning and the synergy between DF Aviation and the ATM system were mainly studied, including key dimensions such as the improvement of flight punctuality rate, the reduction of carbon emissions and the improvement of flight safety. The research period covers the key stages of the recovery of the aviation market after the epidemic.
The research results show that DF Airlines has established a route system covering the whole country and expanding internationally through the "hub-radiation" route network with Shanghai as the core. Performance analysis represented by the Shanghai-Chongqing route shows that this route has achieved significant recovery in terms of passenger flow, revenue and operational efficiency after the epidemic. Meanwhile, the collaborative cooperation with the ATM system has effectively reduced flight delays and carbon emissions, and enhanced the level of flight safety. The report concluded by putting forward a series of strategic suggestions, including route optimization, construction of coordination mechanisms, cost control strategies and sustainable development measures, providing feasible paths and important references for DF Airlines' future growth and its environmental compliance.
