Tiivistelmä
Inira Diamond Pvt. Ltd., a Nepalese diamond jewelry firm, commissioned this thesis to investigate the possibilities of artificial intelligence in its commercial operations. The study's goal was to investigate the potential and difficulties of using artificial intelligence in Nepal's small and medium-sized businesses, with an emphasis on the jewelry industry. Through the application of intelligent technology, the study sought to offer strategic insights for enhancing consumer engagement, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
The study's theoretical framework was founded on important ideas from small and medium enterprises innovation strategies, Artificial intelligence adoption models, and digital transformation. The analysis was conducted by a survey of pertinent academic literature on the use of Artificial intelligence, technical preparedness, and organizational capabilities.
Semi-structured interviews with industry experts and Inira Diamond's managerial team were conducted as part of a qualitative research approach. To find trends, issues, and contextual elements impacting Artificial intelligence adoption, data were subjected to thematic analysis.
The results showed that Artificial intelligence has a lot of potential to improve supply chain, marketing, and customer support procedures. Nonetheless, several difficulties were noted, such as monetary constraints, insufficient digital infrastructure, a shortage of qualified staff, and sociocultural hurdles. According to the study's findings, attaining digital transformation in resource-constrained areas like Nepal requires a phased, context-sensitive Artificial intelligence strategy.
