Tiivistelmä
In the current times of digitalization it has become more and more crucial for businesses and public organizations to have a proper digital presence. Small businesses and public organizations tend to have more difficulties to handle their digital presence due to lack of money or resources. This thesis is about a project for a small business in a small town to implement and run a minimum digital presence, con-sisting of a web and a public profile in the most optimal social media platform for their purposes. In order to implement the web part there are tools like the CMS´s (Content management systems) to cre-ate and manage a website without deep programming skills. In this case WordPress, as the most popular CMS, has been chosen to create and develop the website. For the social media part Instagram has been chosen as a social media network where the target audience for this project is more widely active, or more than in others. This thesis documents the website structure and its functionality, and the social media campaign for the small business sustained in the period of one¬ year.
