In this thesis, different states of work-life balance in the Bangladeshi IT sector from both employers’ and employees’ perspectives are examined. The purpose of this study is to identify the key factors that influence and help maintain a proper work-life balance and job satisfaction by following the employees' well-being and increasing production rate in the digital workspace. To conduct this study, a mixed-method approach has been used, involving quantitative surveys and qualitative insights collected from both employees and employers’ ends across various IT companies in Bangladesh. To conduct this research, we used statistical tools such as Cronbach’s Alpha to measure data reliability and consistency among the data. Excel ANOVA was used to evaluate the dataset across several groups, while Pearson Correlation was utilised to analyse the relationships among variables, specifically the correlation between job position and work-life satisfaction data. Where the basic demographics data, such as gender, age and job role, do not significantly influence statistical data. Employees emphasized flexibility, leadership support, and mental health care as key drivers of balance. Employer perspectives varied significantly based on company size, suggesting that organizational structure impacts management approaches to employee well-being. Through this study, trying to find a better work-life balance environment based on the study on South Asian IT industries culture and how efficiently applied in the growing IT sector in Bangladesh. Overall, this research will help to understand how to evolve the work environment in developing economies and can promote sustainable work-life balance for long-term growth.
