Tiivistelmä
This thesis explores the rebranding journey of the Afrofinns Organization, a non-profit organization with a mission to promote self-reliance among individuals with African heritage living in Finland.
The primary objective of the thesis project was to develop the rebranding journey of the Afrofinns organization, with the hope of enhancing the association’s credibility in the funding sector. In addition, contributing to the Afrofinns association and, overall, the non-profit sector with the necessary knowledge on how to best use branding as a strategic tool.
There are plenty of sources on how branding makes an impact for businesses. However, there isn't a vast number of sources describing the steps taken and process behind rebranding specifically non-profit organizations.
This research endeavors to bridge the gap between branding theory and its practical application in the context of non-profit organizations, shedding light on the unique challenges and opportunities faced by such organizations in their branding journey.
