This research examined the behaviour and buying habits of Finland and France. Research on potential differences in production by country was also carried out. In this thesis, the consequences beyond fast fashion were put forward, and the effective alternative against environmental impact, namely sustainable fashion, was described and also emphasized.
This research aimed to alert and sensitize consumers to the impact of fast fashion on the planet as well as to the social issues it caused.
The data used for the theoretical analysis were mainly derived from websites and scientific articles, and qualitative research was conducted for the collection of data.
The research confirmed that despite different social roots, awareness had emerged from both sides, and consideration in a more ethical and respectful way was gradually taking shape. On the one hand, a country in which nature protection was considered a value, and on the other hand, a country in which the relationship with nature was less established but became increasingly evident.
