This thesis examines plans to promote operational efficiency and minimize machine downtime in a series of JENSEN industrial laundry equipment. This thesis has been commissioned by Comforta Oy.
This thesis’ main goal is to identify key operational challenges, examine the causes of laundry machine malfunctions, and evaluate the impact of these disruptions on the overall performance of the company. This can only be achieved by analyzing live and past data reports coupled with consulting with management.
The aim is to develop optimize equipment functionality, streamline maintenance practices, and improve employee capacity. The aim is also to develop predictive maintenance systems and workflow.
The study ends with improvement in the company’s productivity throughput, significant cost savings, and a positive increase in machine performances.
