This thesis investigates the transformation of Traditional handmade fashion industry of Bangladesh, concentrating how technology, sustainability and globalization have reformed heritage of Bangladesh boutique businesses. The survey intentions to focus on how the local artisans and boutique owners are managing to balance the traditional heritage along with urban and international demand of consumers in rapidly shifting global fashion market. Qualitative research approach has been used in this thesis the research contains an in depth interview with a renowned Bangladeshi designer and boutique owner, providing actual perception into the challenges and opportunities encountered within the traditional handmade fashion industry. The research outcome exposes that while the industry is upholding the heritage, cultural values and craftsmanship, the designers and boutique owners are emphasizing on eco friendly materials, innovative marketing strategies, incorporating with digital platforms to sustain in competitiveness in local and international market. This research highlights the significance of maintaining traditional heritage along with adjusting to urban and global consumers’ inclinations and sustainable fashion practice. Ultimately, this research influences to identify the progressing dimensions of Bangladesh’s handmade fashion segment and its enormous associations for ethnic conservation, industry modernization, and honorable global fashion trends.
