This study employed a quantitative research design to investigate the academic, clinical, and cultural experiences of international nursing students from the 2022–2024 at SEAMK. Data were collected using a structured online questionnaire, including Likert-scale and multiple-choice questions, which enabled standardized measurement and statistical analysis of student experiences. Descriptive statistics such as percentages, frequency counts, and averages were used to summarize responses, ensuring the findings were objective, reliable, and generalizable.
The data collection process was completed between June and August 2025, and responses were analyzed immediately afterward. Challenges included a slight drop in survey participation due to questionnaire length, but the structured approach allowed for efficient data analysis and practical recommendations. The study emphasizes the value of quantitative methods in nursing education research, providing empirical evidence to inform curriculum development, policy-making, and support for international students.
International nursing students reported positive experiences with the balance of theory and practice, clinical skills, and cultural competence. Hands-on learning, mentorship, and peer support were valued, though challenges included inconsistent mentorship, language barriers, and gaps in simulation training. Enhancing mentorship, refining simulations, and providing targeted language support could better prepare students for multicultural healthcare practice.
