Tiivistelmä
The goal of the paper was to record the developmental choices of a minimal viable product of a digital platform for a minor course at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. The platform aimed to consolidate course materials, tasks, and design-process guidance into a single, coherent environment that responds to student needs identified throughout the course. The research focused on the blend of human needs and technological advantages such platforms present.
The paper focused on understanding the many elements of the minor and how a dedicated plat-form would enhance the learnings of the platform. Elements like colored theory, psychology, and pedagogy were touched on as well. Those elements were important to touch on considering the academic nature of the platform.
The paper presents screenshots of the alpha version of the platform. It presents the layout of the platform and the elements on each page. Elements of the platform consisted of the abstract-gamified elements of the course.
