Tiivistelmä
This thesis explored the dynamics of Finnish business culture and the obstacles faced by the internation-al students in the pursuit of employment or entrepreneurship in Finland. Key challenges identified in-clude language barriers, cultural differences, and insufficient professional networking. To explore these issues, several relevant questions were asked from international students about their job search experi-ences and work life in Finland. An interview with Mr. Madhav Bhandari, who went from being an in-ternational student to running his own business in Helsinki, provided helpful real-life insights. The study also used information from books, articles and other research to support its findings.
The findings showed that learning Finnish, building a network and understanding workplace culture were important for success. This thesis also provided practical advice to help international students ad-just and find better opportunities in Finland.
