This bachelor´s thesis aims for preparing a financial plan for a car repair and service station in Tampere, Finland. The goal is to prepare a simple financial plan including financial projections for the first year of operation.
This thesis consists of an introduction, theoretical framework, creating the financial plan and discussion. The introduction explains the background to the thesis topic, and it describes project objectives, sustainability, and automobile sector in Finland. The theoretical framework discusses the key concepts used in preparing the financial documents for the financial plan. Creating the financial plan chapter describes how the financial documents in the financial plan are created. The discussion chapter consists of the key findings.
By analyzing the findings it shows that it is feasible to establish the proposed business. According to the financial plan, this business idea has great potential to be successful by making profits during the first year of operation. The findings of this thesis can be useful for other startups in the same field and from other fields also that are hoping to enter the Finnish market. The thesis can also be a valuable guide for startups to operate with minimum capital.
