Tiivistelmä
The aim of this project was to make a recommendation system for the students and job seekers who are willing get a guidance for AI-related job field. An artificial intelligence job postings dataset from open source was taken and cleaned and then used for training the model. This model has used simple content-based filtering methods to make the model reliable and easy to understand for the user. Here all the job’s required skills and user skills were encoded as vectors and used for calculat-ing cosine similarity. Based on the cosine score the user will be recommended top 5 jobs along with matching and missing skills.
The outcome of this project has proven that this is a successful recommendation model for suggest-ing jobs to the user along clear explanation of matched and unmatched skills. Also with updating data and adding more interactive features, this model can be capable of providing career guidance in all the practical cases.
