Tiivistelmä
This study investigates how Sunich Group, a leading Iranian food company, could utilize best practices for increasing its sustainability. Due to environmental issues, social expectations, and new regulations, sustainability is becoming important.
The main aim of this research is to find practical ways for Sunich to improve its sustainability and understand the challenges that it will face in this process. This study uses qualitative methods such as interviews with managers and professionals of Sunich Company. The data gathered in this research were analyzed using thematic coding to extract important themes, trends, and patterns in Sunich’s sustainability activities.
The findings show that Sunich has already started sustainability initiatives such as eco-friendly production processes, energy management, and social responsibility programs. However, some challenges remain, including limited staff engagement, shortage of resources, and the need for better integration into the organization’s strategy.
Based on these findings, this study provides recommendations for overcoming challenges and supporting leadership, continuous monitoring, and adopting international best practices in line with the local context. Increasing sustainability can help improve efficiency, reputation, and create positive environmental and social effects.
