Tiivistelmä
This thesis is about developing a Fundraising Web Application for Smaller Collections. The concept is straightforward: make local fundraising more accessible and transparent. With them, anyone can launch their own campaign, donate, or monitor its progress without difficulty. It is designed for small groups and individuals, kinds of people who generally do not receive much attention from major crowdfunding platforms. It was built in PHP and JavaScript using Tailwind CSS, ensuring a consistent design language. PostgreSQL was chosen as the database management system to provide reliable storage and data maintenance for the applications. The integration of such technologies enables the development of a clean, intuitive fundraising platform that aims to increase user engagement and make donation activities transparent. In addition, given the system's modular architecture, it is designed to perform well for local applications and to scale up and accommodate future extensions.
