Tiivistelmä
This thesis examines the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the hotel sector, focusing on its financial, social, and professional implications. The study aims to analyse how AI influences the hospitality industry as a whole and how technological advancements are shaping its evolution.
The research begins by defining the key concepts and then explores the relationship between AI and the hotel industry. Through analytical and comparative methods, the study identifies patterns, challenges, and emerging trends. A systematic review of academic literature, policy documents, and industry-related sources is conducted to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI applications, including both their benefits and limitations.
The findings indicate that AI has become an integral part of the global labour market and the hotel industry. While it offers significant advantages in terms of efficiency, service quality, and innovation, it also introduces challenges such as job displacement and the need for new skills. The study concludes that the successful integration of AI requires a balanced and strategic approach in order to maximise its benefits while addressing potential risks.
