IT-tukihenkilön päiväkirja

Abstract

Tässä portfoliomaisessa päiväkirjaopinnäytetyössä raportoidaan IT-tukihenkilön työtehtäviä 10 viikon ajalta ja viikoittain suoritetaan viikkoanalyysi, jossa käydään läpi viikon tapahtumia.

Ideana päiväkirja tehtävässä oli analysoida työtehtäviä ja katsoa jos niitä voitaisiin tehdä erilailla, paremmin tai kirjoittaa miten työtehtävät tehdään ja minkälaisia taitoja niiden tekeminen vaatii. Analyysi tehtiin seuraavasti: päivittäin kirjoitettiin suoritetuista työtehtävistä ja viikon päätteeksi tehtävät analysoitiin.

Tutkimus osoitti että oli joitakin alueita, joissa voidaan parantaa mutta enimmäkseen kaikki asiat olivat kunnossa. Suurimmaksi osaksi tutkimus keskittyy eri työtehtäviin ja niiden vaatimaan osaamiseen. Tutkimus päättyy viimeiseen analysointiin, jossa käydään läpi kaikki mitä on opittu päiväkirjatyön aikana.

The purpose of this diary-type portfolio thesis was to analyse the different tasks of an IT-support technician over a 10 week period and conduct a weekly analysis of accomplishing tasks from the previous week.

The goal was to analyze the job related tasks and see if they can be done differently, in a more efficient way or to reflect how they are done. The analysis was carried out as follows: every day the author would note down the task that he performed during each workday and at the end of the week he would analyze those tasks.

The study indicated that there were some areas that could be improved further on but mostly everything was already in a really good shape. Mostly the study focuses on the various task, and what kind of skills one would need in order to complete them. The study also features the final analysis in which the author defines the areas he learned while completing the theses project.
