Esiintyjä teatterissa- Tanssijan tietoteorian kehittely näytelmässä Frida

Abstract

Tämä kirjallinen raportti on osa Saara Kämärin taiteellista opinnäytetyötä Kuopion kaupunginteatterin näyttämöteoksessa Frida. Opinnäytetyön taiteellinen osuus tanssijana toteutui kevään 2016 ja 2017 välisenä aikana Anne Rautiaisen ohjaamassa taiteilija Frida Kahlon elämänkerrallisessa näytelmässä. Teoksen kantaesitys nähtiin 9.4.2016 Kuopion kaupunginteatterin Minna-näyttämöllä. Taiteellisen osion tavoitteena oli käytännössä hahmottaa näytelmän esiintyjälle asettamaa olemisen tapaa tanssijan työn näkökulmasta. Tarkoitus oli ymmärtää mistä osatekijöistä ilmaisu koostuu ja minkälaiseen asemaan näytelmä asettaa katsojansa. Vaikka kirjallinen raportti ei ole tutkimus, hyödyntää se kuitenkin toteutuksessaan tapaustutkimuksen piirteitä. Subjektiivisesta näkökulmasta toteutetun teosanalyysin jälkeen kirjallinen osuus syventyy taiteellisen työskentelyn pohjalta valikoituun teoriatietoon. Raportin tulkinta perustuu siten teoriaan ja kokemuksellisuuteen esiintyjänä näytelmässä. Lopputuloksena tanssijan työlle muodostuu taidetanssin viitekehysten, kommunikaation kentän ja näyttelijän läsnäolon moodien pohjalta kohtauskohtainen tietoteoria. Raportti on katsaus esiintyjyyden osatekijöiden havaitsemiseen ja tulkintaan monitaiteellisessa produktiossa. Raportin rakenteeseen ja tulkintaan tutustumisesta hyötyvät kaikki esiintymisen ilmiöistä kiinnostuneet lukijat.

This completed thesis is the written part of Saara Kämäri's dancer's work in the play production Frida at Kuopio City Theater. The artistic part of the thesis as a dancer was fulfilled during the spring 2016 and the spring 2017 in the biographical production of the artist Frida Kahlo. The production was directed by Anne Rautiainen. The premier took place at the Kuopio City Theater's Minna stage on the 9th of April 2017. The aim of the artistic part was to in practice perceive the way of being that the play production placed to the performer from a dancer's perspective. The intention was to comprehend of which components the expression was formed and in what kind of position the play sets the viewer. Although the written part is not a research it uses features of a case study. After an analysis of the play, implemented from a subjective perspective, the written part enters the assorted theory of knowledge gained on the basis of work. Thereby the interpretation in the written part is based on theory and experience as a performer in the play. As a result, to the dancer's work the scene-specific theory of knowledge is formed based on dance art's frameworks, the levels of communication and the actor's phenomenal modes. The written part is a review of performance skills, components detection and interpretation in a multi-disciplinary production. All readers interested in the phenomenology of performing will benefit from getting to know the written part's structure and interpretation.
