Palkanlaskentaprosessin tehostaminen kohdeyrityksessä

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli kartoittaa vaihtoehtoja palkanlaskentaprosessin tehostamiselle kohdeyrityksessä 118Finder S.L. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin saatavilla olevien palkanlaskentaratkaisujen soveltuvuutta yrityksen palkanlaskentaan. Tutkimus tehtiin, koska yrityksen palkanlaskentaprosessi on työläs ja tehostamista on suunniteltu aikaisemminkin. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on antaa yrityksen johdolle selvitys saatavilla olevista palkanlaskentajärjestelmistä ja niiden soveltuvuudesta yrityksen omaan palkanlaskentaprosessiin.

Tutkimus toteutettiin käyttämällä kvalitatiivista eli laadullista tutkimusmenetelmää. Kvalitatiivinen tutkimus toteutettiin teemahaastatteluna, joka käytiin yrityksen taloushallintovastaavan kanssa. Taloushallintovastaava on yrityksen ainoa henkilö, joka tekee palkanlaskentaa muiden taloushallinnon työtehtävien lisäksi. Teemahaastattelun avulla saatu aineisto rakentui taloushallintovastaavan kokemusten pohjalta. Tutkimuksesta saatua aineistoa käytettiin pohjana tutkijan teoreettiselle pohdiskelulle ja tulkinnalle.

Tutkimustulosten perusteella kartoitettiin neljä eri ratkaisuvaihtoehtoa, joiden avulla yrityksen palkanlaskentaprosessia voitaisiin tehostaa. Ratkaisujen arvioinnissa otettiin huomioon yrityksen vaatimukset ja tarpeet palkanlaskennan tehostamiselle ja teemahaastattelussa esiin tulleet ongelmat. Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin pilvipalveluita, olemassa olevien järjestelmien kehittämistä, työvoiman rekrytointia ja palkanlaskennan ulkoistamista.

The purpose of this thesis was to explore options for optimizing and enhancing the payroll computation process in the target company 118Finder S.L. The study investigated the suitability of available solutions for payroll computations for the target company's payroll computation process. The study was done because the company's payroll computation process is laborious and optimization for the process has been investigated in the past. The purpose of the study is to provide the company management with an explanation of the available payroll systems and their suitability for the company's own payroll computation process.

The research was carried out using a qualitative research method. The qualitative study was carried out as a theme interview with the person in charge of the company's financial administration. The person in charge of the company's financial administration is the only person who carries out the payroll computation in addition to the other financial functions. The material received through the theme interview was based on the experiences of the financial administration manager. The material from the research was used as the basis for the theoretical reflection and interpretation of the researcher.

Based on the results of the research, four different solutions were identified to help improve the company's payroll computation process. The assessment of the solutions took into account the company's requirements and needs for optimizing the payroll computation process and the problems that came out in the theme interview. In the study four different solutions that were cloud services, development of existing systems, recruitment of labor and outsourcing the payroll computation.
