Tiivistelmä
This thesis covers on-site job development during a period of 10 weeks, starting from 17.10.2018 until 26.11.2018. The format of this thesis is a diary where the author describes the tasks carried out on a daily basis from the perspective of a visual designer for an early-stage startup called Tracy AI. The main responsibilities and tasks are related to the visual appearance of the brand Tracy AI.
The aim of this thesis is to document day-to-day operations and report the different processes and methodologies that the author uses in order to succeed at the assigned tasks. Also, the author reports on any occurring conundrum related to the assigned tasks and how they are fixed, if so.
The content of this thesis will be helpful for any individual who is looking forward to understanding how design-field related individuals work in modern and very early stage startups. The documentation on different design techniques and the use of different technologies, tools and work environments could provide a better comprehension for future design-related prospective employees. Furthermore, the resolution of conundrums during design processes could provide a departure point for future designers when encountering similar scenarios.
