Varastotoimintojen ulkoistus ja integrointi ERP-järjestelmässä

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli toteuttaa ohjelmistointegraatioita toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän ja varastohotellipalveluja tarjoavan osapuolen järjestelmien välille. Lisäksi toteutettiin myös maksuvälineintegraatioita ulkoisiin järjestelmiin. Integraatioiden tavoitteena oli saada järjestelmien välille toimivat ohjelmistorajapinnat, joiden avulla automatisoitiin Total Commercen ja verkkokauppaintegraation toimintoja. Työssä käytetyt kehitystyökalut olivat pääosassa Visual Studio 2015 sekä SQL Management Server 2014, jotka ovat molemmat Microsoftin työkaluja. Projektin alussa selvisivät tarvittavat integraatiot, joita alettiin työstämään olemassa olevaan ympäristöön. Käytännön toteutuksen kanssa tehtiin rinnan myös rajapintamäärittelyä, josta selviävät tehtyjen ohjelmistorajapintojen oleelliset tiedot tarkasti. Integraatiot etenivät suunnitellusti ja pääsivät testausvaiheeseen aikataulussa. Lopputuloksena saatiin toteutettua asiakasprojektin laajempaan testivaiheeseen integraatioita järjestelmien välille. Ennen kaikkea opittiin ohjelmistointegraatioiden kehitystyöstä ja sen eri vaiheista. Myös asiakasprojektissa työskentelystä sai arvokasta kokemusta.

The objective of this project was to integrate two separate systems to communicate with each other. Integrations included application programming interfaces to third party company which offers warehouse hotel services. The work also included integrations to a system that offers payment services. Development tools that were daily used in this project were mainly Visual Studio 2015 and SQL Management Studio 2014, which are both products by Microsoft. In the beginning of the project there were project planning and research about needed integrations and after that began development work to existing platform. The specification document about integrations was also made simultaneously with development work and some changes compared to first specifications were made as the project advanced. Most of the research work was related to studying of the integration API documents. In the end of the project there were working integrations to all systems that were needed and were ready for larger scale system testing phase that also included testing by client company. There were no major delays in project’s development schedule which was great thing to see in the end of project. Working in a customer project was a great experience.
