Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa verinäytteiden taskukortti Iin terveysaseman hoitohenkilöstölle (sairaanhoitaja, laboratoriohoitaja, lähihoitaja) sekä terveysaseman aikuisille asiakkaille. Verinäytteiden taskukortin tavoitteena on toimia Iin terveysaseman hoitohenkilöstön tukena potilasohjauksessa sekä apuna aikuiselle asiakkaalle hänen valmistautuessa verinäytteenottoon itsenäisesti kotonaan. Tavoitteena oli myös kehittää omaa osaamistamme potilasohjauksessa sekä oppia tuottamaan ohjausmateriaalia.
Opinnäytetyön tuotimme hyödyntämällä monipuolisia, ajantasaisia ja näyttöön perustuvia tietolähteitä sekä tutkimuksia. Keräsimme opinnäytetyön raporttiin tietoa aikuisen asiakkaan ohjaamisesta ja valmistautumisesta verinäytteenottoon. Opinnäytetyömme on toiminnallinen. Toiminnallisen tuotoksemme olemme toteuttaneet lineaarisen mallin mukaan, joka etenee tavoitteen määrittelystä suunnitteluun, toteutukseen ja prosessin päättämiseen loppuen arviointiin.
Olemme tuottaneet verinäytteiden taskukortin, joka on tarkoitettu Iin terveysaseman hoitohenkilöstölle ja asiakkaille. Verinäytteiden taskukortissa on nähtävillä verinäytteenoton aihe, viitearvo, esivalmistelu ja tuloksen valmistumisaika.
Johtopäätöksenä voidaan todeta, että kun hoitohenkilöstö on ensin itse valmistautunut huolellisesti verinäytteenoton potilasohjauksen antamiseen, on asiakkaan saamastaan ohjauksesta helpompi ymmärtää valmistautumisen merkitys. Suosittelemme verinäytteiden taskukortin käyttöön ottamista Iin terveysaseman hoitohenkilöstölle potilasohjauksen tueksi ja aikuiselle asiakkaalle avuksi kotona tapahtuvaan itsenäiseen valmistautumiseen verinäytteenottoa varten. Verinäytteiden taskukortin käytännöllisyyttä ja laadukkuutta voidaan jatkossa arvioida jatkotutkimuksellisena opinnäytetyönä hoitohenkilöstön antaman palautteen ja asiakaspalautteen avulla. The purpose of this thesis was to produce a pocket card of blood samples for the nursing staff (nurse, laboratory nurse, practical nurse) as well as for the adult clients of Ii health care station. The aim of the pocket card is to function as a support tool for the Ii health care station nursing staff in directing patients and as a support tool for adult patients when they are at home independently preparing for their blood sample to be taken. The aim was also to develop the know-how of the authors of this thesis in patient guidance and to learn to create directory materials.
This thesis was made by using varied, up to date and evidence- based sources of information and research results. For the report of the thesis information was collected of the guidance of an adult patient and preparation for their blood samples. This is a functional thesis. The outcome is a result of a linear model process that goes from defining the aim into planning, execution, and ending the process by assessing the results.
A blood sample pocket card meant for the Ii health care station nursing staff and customers was produced in this study. In the blood sample pocket card the purpose of taking the blood sample reference values, beforehand preparations, and the time it takes for the results to be ready are made visible.
As a conclusion, it can be said that when the nursing staff themselves have care-fully prepared for giving the patients guidance on blood sampling, it is easier for the client to understand the significance of beforehand preparations from the instructions that they have received. It is recommend to utilize the blood sample taking pocket card for the nursing staff of the Ii health care station as a support tool for patient direction and for the support of an adult client at home when they are preparing independently for their blood samples. The practicality and quality of the pocket card can be assessed in the future as a continuation research based on the feedback given by the nursing staff and the clients.
