Tiivistelmä
In this thesis an application was developed for a Finnish laundry service. The company outsources its operations abroad and needed an application to manage its operation. The company couldn’t find any existing application, from the market, that suits its needs; therefore, it ordered a custom application.
Development team designed, developed and implemented a customized and full stack JavaScript web application to serve the company’s needs. The application is hosted on Heroku cloud and takes advantage of mLab managed MongoDB service.
Readers of this thesis can understand how the team developed a fully customized application with a limited budget and based on Agile Scrum methodology. Also, this thesis can help vendors of laundry applications to tune their existing solution; so, they can serve more customers and better.
