Tiivistelmä
This paper aimed to implement a chatbot service with serverless architecture for the Espoo Garage website to provide services such as to answer FAQs and to manage reservation calendars. The chatbot provides a web chat interface where a user communicates with it. The server-side application handles requests from the user and executes actions by using QnA Maker and LUIS services. In addition, the thesis covered how to deploy the applications to cloud platforms.
The main result of this project was to successfully design and build server and client-side applications of the chatbot. Chatbots are widely used for customer services where they need to answer regardless of time and place. The technology allows to satisfy customers and reduce human resources. In addition, by adopting serverless architecture, the service is more scalable and durable compared with having a physical server.
